Medicare Overview

Navigating Medicare is a little more complex these days because there are now four parts.

Medicare Part A and Part B is also known as Original Medicare.

Medicare Part C gives you the option to get your Medicare coverage through Medicare Advantage Plans instead of through Original Medicare.

Medicare Part D is outpatient prescription drug insurance and is provided by insurance companies that have contracts with the government and each plan covers a different list or formulary of drugs.
